Primary Care Visiting Service (PCVS)

The Primary Care Visiting Service (PCVS) provides home visits for patients who cannot get to their GP surgery and need an assessment.

How the service works

Your GP practice decides whether a visit is appropriate and arranges it directly with the service. A clinician visits you at home and works with your GP practice to agree the next steps in your care.

Arranging a visit

• If you think you need a home visit, contact your GP practice. All PCVS visits are arranged through GP practices.
• Patients cannot book directly with PCVS or through this website.
