Working together for primary care in Oxford

Oxford City Primary Care brings together GP practices and Primary Care Networks across Oxford to work collaboratively for the benefit of our patients and communities.

By working together at a city-wide level, we can do things that individual practices cannot always achieve alone. We develop and deliver services across Oxford, support practices to work effectively together, and build strong partnerships with colleagues across the NHS, local government and the voluntary and community sector.

Our city-wide services include the Oxford City Urgent Care Centre (UCC), Primary Care Visiting Service (PCVS) and Social Prescribing, helping people access the right care and support when and where they need it. Alongside these services, we work with practices and partners to develop new approaches to care, support people with more complex needs and strengthen neighbourhood working across Oxford.

We combine the local knowledge and relationships of individual GP practices with the benefits of working together across the city - creating opportunities to innovate, share expertise and deliver better care for people in Oxford.
